I have some amazing co-workers. They are always full of surprises. A couple of weeks before my maternity leave they surprised me with a baby shower at work. Last night, they decided to surprise us with a delicious meal from "Puttanesca", an Italian restaurant in our neighborhood. There was so much food and it was all delicious - they sent us salads, mixed vegetables, about 30 pieces of bread (no joke!), chicken parmesan, gnochi, macaroni & cheese, a fresh fruit tray, and two desserts (chocolate cake and tiramisu!) It was amazing. I think my mom was the most excited about the meal, since it gave her a reprieve from all the cooking she has been doing since she arrived to help with the baby. Below are some pics from the lovely meal - they're not the best quality since they are courtesy of Manu's Iphone (and since I was the one taking some of the pics!), but you get the idea!
