Our Little Jet-Setter

Well, it's been almost a month since I wrote a post on here, but we have been busy, busy! Shaan was officially three months yesterday, and he has been acting like a big boy and travelling all over the place the last few weeks. It all started Labor Day weekend....

My parents, sister, and brother-in-law came in town for the US Open, and we actually ventured out to the Open two days in a row. It was one of our first real outings with Shaan, and he did so well! We took the subway (almost an hour ride each way) and he did great being away from home 9-4 each day (by far the longest we have had him out).

Then, a few days later, I flew with him home to Alabama for the first time. I booked a last-minute trip home so I could be on the flight with my parents and not have to travel by myself with him for our "test run." He did phenomenal. Then, I had to fly back all by myself with him (and I had a connecting flight, no less), and he did great again! I honestly think he prefers being "out and about" more than he does being in our apartment. He's definitely on his best behavior in public!

Lastly, after we got back from Bama, we had to travel to a wedding in New Hampshire two days later. Once again, couldn't have been more proud of the little man. He took in the 4 hour car ride like a champ, and behaved wonderfully for his babysitters (Sachin and Ankita) while mom and dad attended the wedding. What a difference a month makes! If you'll remember, we couldn't even make it to a wedding in the City a month ago because of his fussiness!
